“Making the Transition to a Spiritual Life”
Greetings, it is I, Archangel Michael,
Continuing the theme of making a transition to a spiritual life in a spiritual community.
Priorities
Greenhouse materials gathered and placed at site, and secured against later winds.
Community Center
Each community center should be large enough for dancing, tables of food, and chairs on the side. Place shelves for a small library on one side, with reading lamps and an area for toddlers or a playpen. As you may have strong westerly winds for some years, the building should not be too high, with minimal glass. A dome shape, with covered tunnels or walkways, would be very helpful during winter rains. Be sure to provide a means of runoff for the walkways. Slatted wooden walks over the dirt are one viable option.
If you have time, dig a daylight basement. In this area you can place a freezer, refrigerator, tables, lanterns, and various supplies for winter, also, some cots and blankets in case someone’s home is damaged. If you can locate a very large tent, with waterproofing, windows and privacy area, this would give you insurance from the strongest winds. If the winds damage the community center, you would have the tent to cover the floor space until summer when the building could be repaired.
Our aim is for each hamlet to be self-sufficient, as your transport and supply systems will be much different. Surely we are available to assist, as are your galactic friends. However, we have seldom been asked for assistance before. Will you ask for help and advice? Surely we have tried to send the information ahead through visionaries and psychics—for centuries! However, few have heeded the call. Now you have a short time to secure your homes, food, clothing, wood supply and animals (temporary, new transport system for local use).
The wood should amount to 2–3 cords per house, and a suitable stove area to burn it. Pots that can be used on these will be a great help. Although you will have some electricity, your main source of heat is the wood stove. Later, we’ll show you other devices. In the meantime, prepare for about 6 months of rainy, cold weather. It will be milder than your normal winter, but it may seem longer. The community center with covered walkways will do a lot for community morale. Be sure to also drill holes, or provide some means of drainage in the basement floor. Build the greenhouses around April, and have a mild heat system (A small, pot-bellied stove?) with wood available. Fans at each end of the roof will assist with ventilation, as well as a screen door and windows. Provide hosing for a drip system, and drainage for the floor also.
For the initial construction phase we are allowing the use of concrete in flooring, but wish to avoid tar (such as your road systems). A thin layer of concrete in one or two buildings per hamlet is preferable to paving long stretches of highway over Mother Earth. Enough of that has been done. We are anxious to bring you new technology for construction, but the first priority is to help you through the first few months or years after the pole shift.
The shape of your communities, hamlets would be best suited to the shape of a wheel. Each of the inner ‘spokes’ would be a house around the community center and greenhouse. The land for each radiates out the back of the houses. In this way you have maximum privacy, yet fellowship in a short walk.
For morale, we suggest that the head of the house place a few special items in a box or trunk to be opened a year or so after the shift. Perhaps it is kept on a high shelf or cupboard. In this box, place items that you may not have a year from now, such as lipstick, chocolate bars, a favorite magazine, coloring books, paint, sidewalk chalk, kites, a cigar, cocoa mix, raisin bran, and dried fruit (if sealed against mice).
In the middle of winter (July?), if the group needs cheering up, bring a few of the items out. Save the majority for 12–18 months from the shift. It will give you a boost after dealing with changes for so long. Mind you, we do not recommend these items in the long run, but to bring out some favorites might relieve doldrums of building a new society—almost from scratch!
We aim to bring many new activities to you, devices, technology, travel and education. But first, the earth must be ‘cleaned up,’ and new lifestyles brought forth.
Adieu,
Archangel Michael
